NEW PAPER SUBMISSION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 02th 2014

  

The "II Conferência Internacional em Tecnologias Naval e Offshore: Produtividade, Competitividade e Novas ronteiras - NAVTEC 2014" (www.navtec2014.furg.br), from 11nd to 14th March 2014, aims to establish a forum for discussions, with the goal of promoting the development of science, technology and innovation in the areas and Naval Offshore. The event will address the key technological challenges of the marine and offshore industry, with the participation of different segments involved with the scenario of building ships, offshore structures and their interrelations with the ecosystem. International Seminars, Workshops and Technical Sessions Theme Presentation of Scientific Papers comprise the NAVTEC 2014. The sessions of technical papers intended to work full scientific reporting research, development and technological innovation associated with areas: design, construction and operation of ships and offshore structures, supply chains facing the marine and offshore industry; Engineering for ocean production of oil and gas, Offshore and Subsea Technology, and Energy and Sustainable Development. The NAVTEC 2013 will take place in Rio Grande, the Center for Integrated Coastal and Ocean Development (CIDEC-SUL) of FURG, during the "Fair Polo Naval RS 2013" (http://www.polonavalrs.com.br) with rounds business conferences and seminars involving different segments of the shipping industry and ocean transportation, logistics and ports. Will be 15,000 square meters, with 200 exhibitors, 6 auditoriums, and parking for 1,500 vehicles.




The "First International Conference on Marine & Offshore: Science and Innovation" was held with great success in the year 2012, with 1,200 entries. The conference had about 60 speakers, seven international and workshops on topics of marine and offshore industry. Reduce the distance between technological research and business involving the shipbuilding industry in Brazil was one of the achievements of the Conference. Seven workshops were held during the three day event, from embedded systems for treating industrial sector to contract management and environmental management, reduction of cost and time, the engineering curriculum, even passing by the subsea technologies and robotics, and automation in the shipbuilding industry offshore automation and technology challenges and opportunities in the chemical industry and shipbuilding.Likewise, the Fair Polo Naval RS had huge success with the public and exhibitors in 2012, held the CIDEC-south, the Fair is strategically positioned as a trade with a focus on supply chain marine, onshore and offshore.
